The trail rides can be purchased in either the public or private format.
Public: We combine folks from the general public into groups of six riders or so. A great way to meet interesting new people while enjoying your horseback activity.
Private: This format is ideal for those who desire a more personal setting such as celebrating birthdays, anniversaries or honeymoons. They are preferred by more experienced riders, as we can better tailor the ride to your level of horsemanship. They are also utilized by those who desire to depart at a custom time rather than at one of our regular departures. Our personal guide will show you the way.
Stewart Trail, approx. 1 hour
$40.00 per person (Public Format)
A pleasant, relaxing, slow paced ride through pasture, along the crest of a small ridge to a shady wooded trail. This ride is especially good for beginners and youngsters.
Fir Top Trail, approx. 2 hours
$60.00 per person (Public Format)
Our most popular ride, we will climb up to the Inverness ridge, about 1300 feet, passing a osprey nest. You will view the Olema valley as you pass through bay wood groves, ride among moss covered towering Douglas fir trees that reveal peeks of the pacific ocean to the west. The trail then drops down into the serenity of birch and alder forest along peaceful Olema creek.
